The Assistant Property Manager for 30 and 35 Hudson Yards will play a vital role in the daily operations of two of New York City’s most iconic towers: a premier Class-A office skyscraper and a luxury mixed-use tower offering five-star living. Responsibilities include: 

Operations & Building Management

  • Support the implementation of building operations strategies and procedures.
  • Conduct regular inspections of systems, equipment, and common areas.
  • Coordinate with maintenance teams and vendors for repairs and service needs.
  • Assist in managing building security, access control, and emergency protocols.

Tenant Relations

  • Deliver exceptional service to tenants, addressing inquiries and concerns promptly.
  • Coordinate tenant move-ins, move-outs, and space modifications.
  • Collaborate with leasing and marketing teams to support tenant retention.

Financial & Reporting

  • Assist in preparing and monitoring annual budgets.
  • Reconciliation quarterly and annual of financial records
  • Support rent collection, billing, and resolution of discrepancies.
  • Review and track vendor invoices and expenses.
  • Contribute to monthly and quarterly financial statements, variance analysis, and investor reporting.

Compliance & Sustainability

  • Ensure compliance with local regulations, building codes, and company standards.
  • Support sustainability initiatives, including energy efficiency and waste management.
  • Maintain documentation for certifications, inspections, and permits.

Additional responsibilities may be assigned as needed to support the successful operation and management of the property.

Compensation: 

The anticipated base salary range for this position is listed below. In addition to a competitive base salary, you will be eligible to receive discretionary bonus incentives and a comprehensive benefits package.

 

Anticipated base salary range: $100,000 - $115,000 + Discretionary Bonus 

 

Actual base salary within the anticipated range will be determined by several components including but not limited to the individual's experience, skills, qualifications, and market factors.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Real Estate, or a related field is preferred.
  • Minimum of 3–5 years of experience in commercial property management, operations, or a related field.
  • Proven track record in financial management, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and budget preparation.
  • Strong understanding of property management systems and software (e.g., Yardi, MRI, or similar).
  • Familiarity with local regulations and compliance requirements, including DOB and FDNY standards.
  • Experience managing vendor contracts, maintenance operations, and tenant services.
  • Ability to oversee building systems, including inspections, repairs, and compliance.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills for interacting with tenants, vendors, and internal teams.
  • Ability to handle tenant issues professionally and diplomatically.
  • Experience supervising administrative and operational staff.
  • Strong organizational and multitasking skills to oversee multiple priorities effectively.
  • Proactive and solution-oriented mindset for addressing operational challenges and tenant concerns.
